i am having some issues with my flac files that i'm ripping from cds using eac. i get no errors when i have finished the process, but a lot of the time when i listen to the albums in foobar, i get an error in the console. i don't remember exactly what the error says b/c i was too absent-minded...

i used to have the koss plugs too. i thought they sounded good...until i got the shure e2cs. definitely go for the e2cs. there's more clarity and the bass is tighter.

i had a bit of trouble getting bass out of the soft sleeves with my e3cs, but then i starting inserting the tips further into my ear canal, and the bass was great. i'd assume the same would be true with the e2cs.

how do people covert from flac to mp3? is there a way to use eac for this? i use medimonkey b/c i believe it uses the lame encoder, but there has to be a better way. btw, i use lame's preset standard for mp3s.

i'd stay with the karma. it is hands down the best mp3 player i've seen. it kicks the pants off the dj. if you're worried about it breaking down, get a third party 2-year warranty from viking warranty for $20.

i also had the plugs and loved the sound i had after modding them before i came to this website. they sounded great modded after having the sony mdr-ex71s. however, after buying the e2cs and then the e3cs, they sound like such crap even with the mods. i would go with e2cs if you can find a deal...
