I too am debating between the V2 ($1399) and SE ($1999). Sounds like the SE is overall the better headphone.

Watching this thread that I started grow to 102 pages is amazing. Had to take a break for a while due to real life stuff, but have been listening to my PX8’s nearly everyday for 2 - 3 hours a day. Been listening mainly to FLAC’s from my NAS and I’m still floored by these. They’re so…engaging...

So brief impressions (only had about an hour to play with these thus far), I'm streaming FLAC files from my NAS to my Galaxy Tab - absolutely floored by these. Echoing what others have already said, these are energetic and fun. Tonality is great, Soundstage is not as large as I was thinking...

Yeah, by default I believe Android is set to SBC. I didn't have much time to tinker and test last night but merely switching to aptx and listening to my FLAC files streaming from my NAS was absolutely jaw-dropping.

Nope, you need to enable Developer Options.

I had the tan ones pre-ordered but decided to go with the black instead. The more I look at it, the more it appealed to me for some reason. Plus they were in stock lol.

My PX8s arrive tomorrow and cannot wait. I'll be alternating between streaming FLAC files from my NAS and Tidal MQA from my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. BTW, just found out you can manually switch Bluetooth codecs with Android devices. Neat!

Looks like a bunch of US retailers are starting to get the black PX8's in stock today, but not the White/Tan. EDIT: Wondering if the White/Tan won't make it in bulk to US retailers won't arrive until end of Oct/Nov like some have said. Really hope not.

Wow, yeah I can imagine lol. I guess what I'll do it look at starting an Apple Music account, create a playlist or two and manually search/re-add the songs I really like for now. I am in the process of planning out my own NAS and bring all my FLAC files over to it and setup a network share.

Awesome, thanks! My source is going to primarily be Tidal through my iPad, but also on my Galaxy S22 Ultra as well. I keep getting more compelled to migrate over to Apple Music. I've got so much invested in Tidal though with Playlists and stuff though.
