Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Take my lack of equipment into account. I am broke and therefore haven't heard what many other amp/dacs can achieve. That being said bass sounds more pronounced. YMMV. Typically I steer clear of bass boost in general but the ifi does it surprisingly well.- frankstallone

Anyone who doesn't think there is enough low end on these may want to contemplate their amp/dac setup. FWIW I upgraded to the ifi micro iDSD black label and without any boost the bass is much better. Even more so than my xDuoo XD-05.- frankstallone

Hahaha! Oh man, it's almost embarrassing how frugal I am. There's guys on here with Schiit stacks and all sorts of fantastic solutions for driving headphones. The XDuo is literally on my front porch right now. Thank you Massdrop. Can't wait to try that. If the iFi Micro iDSD Black Label comes...- frankstallone

Yep, $470 for 106mm planar headphones. There is a wide range of opinions on this thread, and I've probably only read half of it. I have been into sound quality for a long time but there are many on these forums that have way better analytical ears than I do. I also don't know the terminology as...- frankstallone

I had a buddy who had the M560's. I borrowed them for a week before he returned them. He wanted to get high quality planars. I didn't blame him. I have had the M1060's V2's now for almost a week and absolutely love them. I have the vegan pads coming, and did the paper towel mod already. Looking...- frankstallone

Although I don't have rev 1's I do have a wood cutting board at home that I put conditioner on when the wood starts loosing it's luster. If I had rev 1's I would consider some timeline to go in and oil them. Maybe once every 6 months? Maybe go in and check them out every month to see if they...- frankstallone

That's more like it. The only thing customer service was able to tell me was there was ~15 people on the Notify Me list. Got the distill chrome extension to watch the page and it chimed when it went back in stock. Order went through and they already took my monies. We'll see how it goes.- frankstallone

I get the impression their ETA system is not very good. There is a disconnect between their warehouse and customer service. Unfortunately contacting them gives you little to no more insight than then daily changing ETA on the website. I have screenshots of four different ETA date changes on...- frankstallone
