Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
THANK YOU! That's exactly the answer I was looking for! Clear and convincing. Now I know why it costs more! Hurray! And you should work for Schiit LOL I just bought an Asgard 2 on headphonebar.com (If it wasn't for Canada customs ******** and ridiculous exchange rate I would've chosen...- Fighterboy89

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
OK so if I understood correctly all these little things add up to provide a superior subjective listening experience and I assume better measured sonic performance even though the listed specs for M2U and A2 are almost exactly the same within reasonable margin of error? Like if you were to put...- Fighterboy89

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Magni 2 Uber is also fully discrete. But anyway can you explain some of that terminology? I know that Class A amps are always ON and have the best linearity and that might explain why it sounds better (theoretically and whether that's audible or not is another discussion). But what does fully...- Fighterboy89

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I know you're going to hate me for asking this but I was considering the Asgard 2 for a while now but after reading the spec sheet for the Magni 2 Uber. I was like: Whaaa? Why would I buy the Asgard 2 now? Is there an Asgard 3 in the works? (I know you hate this question too xD) I just want...- Fighterboy89

Mission Impossible?
I tried the lower ohm version of the DT 880, the highs sounded weird, can't describe it and tight ******* clamp lol!! Like the Senn HD 500 and 600 series, except I could bend the black metal on my HD 600 easy.- Fighterboy89

Mission Impossible?
OMG, I just checkout reviews for the X1 and X2. I really hope the sound is what the reviews are saying. I'm adding these two on my list for now. Honestly, those two pairs seem to be the only that fit my specific criteria so far.- Fighterboy89

Woah, the Fidelio X1 looks nice! Thanks!! I'm just curious how does it compare to HE-400? Because I think from my personal experience nothing beats planars when it comes to bass. They just sound so good and they're so fast.- Fighterboy89

Mission Impossible?
Once upon a time, I bought Maxell AMP-B blue headphones and I love the sound but hate the ergonomics. Then I became an audiophile and bought the FiiO E10K and the Schiit Asgard 2. No regrets so far. In my search for the perfect headphone, it came down to 2 (or 3). Being praised so much...- Fighterboy89
