I just picked one of these up to try it out. The complete USB portion through the 3.5mm jack moves slightly (wiggles). I plan on inquiring with Audioquest as to why it was designed this way and will give it a listen.

Something doesn't sound right if some people have units with no wiggle (e.g., quote "rock solid") and others have it to possibly varying degrees. I'd like to get a better explanation on the design and operation prior to taking the plunge.

FYI, the K's Samsara are around $108 for the 11.11 but when I checked the history, they were $96 last year and about that price in April 2018. For those that have these, can they be considered fairly neutral/detailed all-arounders that can compare to some TOTL buds?

I have not had any issues myself but it is concerning if someone else has over 2-3 years and now has to pay a third of the cost for a replacement. I feel for the guy.

How many have actually reported battery issues after 6 months or more of regular usage (i.e., battery issue not manifesting itself right out of the box)? Is this really a reliability issue inside of three years for those with regular usage, or is this just a few pre-mature failures for some...

I have had this same impression when listening cold vs. warmed up. I meant to ask this before but I'm glad you brought it up. Am I just getting used to the sound after listening for a while? I doubt it since I've had the same realization multiple times.

I also use an iPod Touch with Mojo and believe from what John has stated previously that it is supported in playing files stored on the Poly or files stored on the iTouch when you have a WiFi connection.    As you stated, the one area where it may not support is on-the-go where WiFi is not...

Thanks all for the impressions on Z1 vs Z2.  I was going to trade the Z1 in, but I think I will keep them as it seems they have the sound that I will probably prefer.  VE does make some great stuff.

Enjoyed the 2015 event.  Hope Beyer will be there in 2016.
