610 pads do indeed have a slightly wider opening for your ear. The height and depth are the same.

The Dekoni X00 pads are probably not going to be your thing, either. The opening is small so I'd guess that the soundstage would be compromised. Your ears might also have problems fitting the pads.

I definitely wouldn't take the X00s outside. They're not the most durable headphones, and the cups are very easy to nick. Just seems like a bad idea all around
