Somic EFi-82 MT: Believe the Hype
bhazard, Sorry if I offended you. I didn't say the innards were the same. What I'm talking about is the body. You didn't have to make discourteous comments about my character. The Sonys were my first cans when I learned to DJ. You can't say I'm unfamiliar with those cans. I'm posting...- donwerve

Sony MDR-v700 (I kno, I know.. lol)
Get Audio Technica ATH-Pro 700 earpads. MDR V700s sound signature was great for DJing. Hinge just kept breaking.- donwerve

Somic EFi-82 MT: Believe the Hype
Sorry to bust your balls. The headphone is a fake Sony MDR V700. Counterfeits were made in Shenzen, China. Sony discontinued the cans in 2009. Guess they're called the EFi-82 MT now.- donwerve

Looking for new DJ monitor headphones
I have used the original ATH M50, not enough bass or isolation for beat matching. Remember, I'm mixing in a club with lots of loud drunks.- donwerve

Looking for new DJ monitor headphones
Hi, I'm new here. Since I DJ, I could use some audiophile advice. I've gone through so many pairs of DJ headphones. MDRV700, ATHPRO700, HDJ2000, TMA-1, DN-HP1000, RP-DH1200, HD25-1 II, K267, and XD-53. Every pair has either broken, is uncomfortable, or lacks treble. Remember, I'm inside...- donwerve
