The Blue Lola (vs. my AKG K553 Pro)
Hmm interesting ! The thing is in Canada I am having hard time finding their headphones in shop around my place. I got a Mo-Fi at Costco.ca and found the Lola at London Drugs store for 229$ CAD which is a really price in my opinion. Never heard of Sadie yet ... !! Will keep an eye open for her !- dieslow

Sony Dr-5A Mono
It is definitely a 3,5mm plug but I think he chose a weird connector that just doesnt fit anywhere. I will try to change the connector to a standart 3,5mm stereo and will see if it works. Thanks for adding your 2cents.- dieslow

Sony Dr-5A Mono
Hello fellow head-fiers, I just bought a pair of Sony DR-5A that are in mint condition and looks really great but can't try it ! The plug seems to be mono and I can't get it to fit in any of my gear (Fiio X5, Cellphone, Marantz HD-DAC1 or stack of Schiit). Anyone know why ?! Should I use an...- dieslow

Polk Buckle- an overlooked headphone that deserves a thread
I know this thread is old but I am considering buying a pair for my nephew. I could have it at 69$ CAD which is a good price considering the construction and quality. Sound quality isnt the first thing here .. I would like to know if it would be compatible with the PS4 dual shock. I know the...- dieslow

Marantz HD-DAC1
Such a wise reply ! Like you said we are tend to forget that the priority is to enjoy the music we listen to and let's be honest ... we dont "need"" a 2000$ pair of headphones with a 1500$ amp to do so !- dieslow

Oppo PM-3 vs Audeze EL-8
I owned 3 EL-8s ( 2 open and 1 closed ) and the three had this problem so I sold them and bought something else. The customer service was nice each time and they replaced it without arguing but I had to pay for the shipping every time ! I do like my LCD-2 but I feel the EL-8 is not in the same...- dieslow

Marantz HD-DAC1
Using Foobar with Windows 10 via USB and no problem at all reading any files (MP3, FLAC, ALAC, SACD, etc). No dropout at all. It is weird ... maybe there is a problem with your configuration but I do not think it is a problem with the Marantz.- dieslow
