It's amazing how much difference electronics can make. I was reviewing a $150 headphone the other day and just for giggles put it on the Manley with the R2R-1 and was totally blown away with how good it sounded.- DGCFAD

Review by 'DGCFAD' on item 'Manley Laboratories Absolute Headphone Amplifier'
To fully understand why the MANLEY Absolute Headphone Amplifier is such a great deal, you must first understand MANLEY’s pedigree. Back in the late nineteen eighties, MANLEY began life as the Lexus to VTL’s (Vacuum Tube Logic) Toyota. That is to say that MANLEY began as David Manley’s rare air...- DGCFAD

New Questyle CMA400i
All I can say is that I used planar magnetic headphones for my review and they worked amazing, so I would guess that the person was referring to a specific hard to drive headphone. There are a few planars out there that require an extreme amount of power to drive.- DGCFAD

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
I have to agree with you, I listened to the Elear on the Questyle CMA600i and the Cavalli Tungsten and simply wasn't sold. The Utopias are a completely different kettle of fish. The Cirrus DAC int he QP1R is not as detailed or musical as the Wolfson used in the CAS192D or CMA800i, and you get...- DGCFAD

A very simple way to accomplish what you want is to organize your files by artist then album (the player supports multiple folder depth) and use the "browse files" rather than the "play by category".- DGCFAD

☯️ Cavalli Audio presents The Source AV’s Summer Series 2016
Not to get into a debate, but the note I refer to is a conga drum and not electronic as can be clearly seen in the video. I don't believe the effect I heard was due to room acoustics, but the subsonic reinforcement inherent in a loudspeaker system as opposed to headphones. On the other hand you...- DGCFAD

Quote: As I said before, I have done this, but the M3U8 file needs to reflect where the files are located on the player, if the drive letters are wrong or the folder structure is different it won't be able to find the file, so it is necessary to open the M3U8 file in note pad and edit it to...- DGCFAD

The QP1R does support M3U8 playlists, but you will probably have to edit them for the correct drive names (assuming that you are using the same SD cards). I don't mess with tagging so I can't answer that question.- DGCFAD

I don't understand why you don't get that distributors are not able to operate outside of their region. You should be taking your issues to your local distributor or dealer, rather than haranguing the North American office for only serving North America. But of course you bought your product...- DGCFAD
