I believe I have a defective unit, I've used at least 3 different cables same results. 

When I do that the DX80 isn't recognized

@ HiFiChris   Using Windows 7 and 10 and the problem is the device is not recognized when plugged into the computer.  I dont even see it as an option under devices to set as the default.  Same issue when trying to use as reader.

I've already done the factory reset after updating to the most recent firmware and still no results.  I've attempted on 3 different pc's and nothing happens.  I tried changing modes then reconnecting and nothing happens.  I also installed the driver for pc to use a dac and it doesn't connect...

Hello guys, need dome help here. When i connect my to pc to use as a reader, nothing happens. I have to remove the card in order to add any mew music files. Also is there a way to use the eq on lineout? BTW im using the lastest firmaware

No experience with the nuforce ne6, but the klipsch s4 have a brighter sound over the vmoda bass freq, but no where near the amount of bass.  I recently purchased some super.fi 5eb, because I love bass and so far they don't quite compare to the vmoda's bass, but definitely sound better overall. ...

Thanks guys. I'm narrowed my choices down to fiio e5, cmoybb and a Go-Vibe V6.

@ myth I'm only trying to achieve a little bass boost when using the iphone 4. Hoping the cheap ffio e5 can give me that boost.  EBs sound quite fine on my pc using audigy sb card.
