    Simplistic In-Ear Earphones

Hello people of Head-Fi, Recently, one of my dear friends has been looking for a new pair of earphones. They've been wanting to purchase the Apple in-ears for their minimalistic design, but I've been trying to convince her otherwise. If any of you know of earphones that have better sound...

No Sound Coming Out of ATH-M50s?

Quote: Nope, no visible damage at all.     Quote: Unfortunately I live in a very small town and, for everyone I know, I'm that guy that they come to fix electronics.

No Sound Coming Out of ATH-M50s?

Hello, I came home today and notice that no sound was being emitted from my ATH-M50s when they were plugged in and the volume was on. At first I thought it may be my laptop's fault, but I got the same result from my desktop and my portable audio device. Any idea of what could have happened...

Best Headphones for Rock Around $50?

My father is in the market for headphones, he wants to use them at home and at work without disturbing other employees. He does not have an external amp or dac so they will have to sound decent out of a work computer. He will be using them with Spotify so sound quality isn't his #1 priority...

What do you think of Spotify?

Quote:   For music recommendation I have it scrobble what I play to last.fm (I think it only scrobbles the tracks that you finish listening too) then I use http://spotibot.com/ to generate a playlist based on what I listen too. I know it's a hassle, but the results are better than what...

What do you think of Spotify?

Quote: I've heard that Spotify's sound quality is significantly better than Rdio's (I'm assuming you misspelled it). I bought Spotify premium and I'm loving it. I plan to use it with my Android phone so I don't have to use up all of it's storage.

    My first comfortable headphones

I would recommend the ATH-M50s, I have them on my head right now and they have very good isolation, and I really like their sound signature (I also listen to electronic)

    Cheapest reputable place for ATH-M50?

Quote: I would also recommend being careful on Amazon, I bought mine from Amazon (and fulfilled by Amazon) for $160 and I am 100% satisfied. In my opinion, it is worth paying a few extra dollars to make sure they aren't fake.

7 drum hits -> What do you hear?

I heard the second with my ATH-M50

Nope. The Skullcandy Aviators are junk after all.

I'm also listening to my M50 as I'm typing this. I would recommend these to anyone, they are honestly the best headphones I have ever head (well I haven't heard that many high-end headphones...) but I can confirm that they are a little bassy. I'm pretty sure you can EQ them though. If you want...

    JVC Marshmallows vs. Skullcandy FMJs?

Quote: I saw the M9's, but being at around twice as much as the Marshmallows they aren't as "disposable" to me.

    JVC Marshmallows vs. Skullcandy FMJs?

Okay, so I recently ordered a pair of JVC Marshmallows (http://tinyurl.com/42v8xb6) and my friend and I got into a debate; are the Marshmallows or the FMJs (http://tinyurl.com/3jlq7uk) better for the price? I would also like to know which are a better iem overall.
