I have ACME 8 and your impressions on it not what i can hear from mine, the bass on Acme 8 what i love about it ( i use to have IMR R1 and the bass on those are great ) the mids are not recessed at all, you probably didn't get a good seal on those, i use large foam tips.

Everyone's ears are different, i use large size spiral dot and i get perfect seal even when my jaw is open or closed there is no change in the seal and sound.

Don't have comply 500 but i do have Symbio W and can confirm outer bore is wider and narrower on spiral dot which is why judging from the Acme 8 design spiral dot is good choice to use as tips.

Try spiral dot as tips on your Acme 8, looking at the design it should improve sound, spiral dot bore is wider than other wide bore tips

You can ask the seller from aliexpress to declare value lower than actual price to avoid custom fees

Yeah this replacement is ok its in phase both sides, just to double check the right unit on the 2 pin socket side the red wire should be on the bottom the pictures a bit blurred cant see clearly. if red wire is on bottom then your all good

right side is out of phase and soldered wrong on the driver side, show this picture to Bob @ IMR he will send you replacement.

On people who received there zenith's do you guys notice harshness on your units?? everything is better than my R1 except its quite fatiguing to listen to, i keep going back to my R1, any suggestions?
