Also looks like that'd be more comfortable than the stock headband!

V-MODA Crossfade LP Headband ripped - any ideas for DIY repair?

Thank you for the suggestion!  I may just do that, as the headband is tearing even more now and V-Moda's tech support only wants to sell me a new pair rather than replacement parts

V-MODA Crossfade LP Headband ripped - any ideas for DIY repair?

Hello!   The leather on the headband of my V-MODA Crossfade LP is ripped/torn, and I wondered if there is a good affordable DIY way to repair the rip?  I would send them in to V-MODA, but the warranty is expired.   Thanks!

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75

I ended up returning the XB50s, and I bought the V-MODA Bass Freq Metal from Amazon for the same price.  They look awesome and are very comfortable, and they have a nice three-button remote.  I was impressed by the sound quality, as my previous V-MODAs were not as impressive.  They have perfect...

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75

I am using the medium Sony hybrid tips (which provide the best fit for my ears), and the bass is great but the treble is uncomfortably sibilant.   Updated list of options: • Sony XB50 with Comply Tips • Sony XB70 • Panasonic RP-HJX5 • Xiaomi Pistons • Philips SHE3590 • Astrotec AM800...

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75

I listen to a lot of Hip Hop and EDM, and I am trying to find the best IEMs for those genres.  My first IEM was a cheap Maxell headset from Walmart, which had a phenomenal sound quality for the <$10 price.  They had the best bass I have heard in a headphone, but unfortunately my dog broke them...

Has anyone tried the Audio Technica ATH-AX3 or ATH-AX5?

I have also been considering the Polsen HCA-10MB and Noontec HAMMO   Can anyone comment on these pairs?   I am looking for amazing bass quantity and quality without ruining the mids and highs.  I will be using these with a 11" MacBook Air and an iPod touch 5th Generation, un-amped.   These...

Has anyone tried the Audio Technica ATH-AX3 or ATH-AX5?

Hello   I have been researching over-the-ear headphones, and the ATH-AX3 and AX5 have caught my interest for design/style, and price.  I tried to look them up, but I could only find them on Audio Technica's website (with no reviews).  Has anyone tried them, and if so can you share your...

JVC HA-FX1 "Xtreme Xplosives" vs Urbanears Kransen

I have a pair of Maxell headset earphones that sound REALLY good and have KILLER bass, but they aren't comfortable.  I wanted a pair that sounds good and is comfortable, so I did a little research, and found the MEElectronics M9P with flat cable and bought them.  I burned/broke them in for 50+...

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

Can you do a JVC FX1 vs MEE M9 comparison?  I bought the M9P (Flat Cable) and will be returning them because they don't sound good with an iPod.  Do the JVCs have this problem?

How to strengthen Sennheiser HD 419 cable?

I just bought the Sennheiser HD 419, and I am concerned that the cable is so thin.  What is the best way to strengthen the cable without replacing the cable or cutting wires?

Review by 'ccard3dev' on item 'Sennheiser HD 419 Headphones'

I am a Bass-Head.  I had a pair of Sony on-ear monitors, and they were uncomfortable and didn't sound good, so I decided that it was time to buy new ones.  I did some research and decided that I wanted a pair of over/around-ear headphones with thumping bass for under $100.  I researched Beats...
