You could try the 0404 usb as an option. It has 2 TRS outputs as well as a 1/8 out. TRS for the A5s, and the 1/8 can be used for a sub. I don't know off the top of my head what the A5s use, but it may be an option. I am using the 0404 for my bx8s and a hsu sub.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I am in a fairly large room however, being around 14x25. I'm sure this makes a difference. If your room is smaller, you may hear a difference. Ment to put this in the post above

I can't speak for the one your looking at, but I have had the VTF MK-2 now for about 4 months, and I think it's great. I have it placed directly behind me as opposed to the front corner where it sounds a little bit better, but I like being able to control the crossover and volume for each song...

The 0404 usb IS an amp/dac/soundcard. All you need to do is connect your laptop into the 0404 via usb, then use the headphone input for your phones and it will all work.

I don't know much about sound cards either, but I hear good things about the 0202 usb. edit: $99 at amazon, I didn't check anywhere else.

I think most of the posts about the 0404 usb have been about using it as a stand alone sound card. As for how it sounds, I don't know; but I intend to find out. I just ordered it Friday along with some BX8a's and I hope they come sometime this week ^^
