We may be our own worst enemies around here sometimes and wind up shooting ourselves in the foot with the hype. I got a pair about 3 months or so ago from soundprofessionals.com for $109 shipped after a $50 coupon code, but the code has dropped by $10 each month since then and is now only $20...

That deal no longer works. They have replaced the $$$off with gift cards for  $30 off M50s and $40 off the M50.   Quote:

I think the $166 price at B&H for DT990's was for the Pro model and not the Premiums.

When you highlight the text it is certainly easier to determine what exactly you are replying to.   I can see what you meant, but I believe the authorized dealers can discount if they want to but are just not allowed to advertise those discounts, which Audiolab is not doing.

They most certainly are an authorized dealer, and you can check it on Grado's website! I just checked it myself!   Quote:

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Audiolab.com has all Grado (headphones, cables) for 10% off list, and 15% off all Grado phone cartridges.

Those are not the M-80's at Costco. I just got back from there. They are the v-Moda Crossfade LP's which have seen their pricing crash lately, probably because their sound is not even in the same league as M-80s.
