Thanks for the suggestions. I've been considering the schiit combos but when buying them in the uk they turn out to be pretty expensive (even when purchasing from schiits eu distributor). I'm currently leaning towards the ifi audio range.

TimeLord I agree with you that the ap`s are not portable cans whereas the oppo ha2 is a portable amp/dac. I'm actually looking for a amp/dac combo for my office desktop set up but am struggling to find something within the 200-300 gbp bracket. Another headfi member on a different thread...
