If you want it mainly for music listening, then Asus xonar essense stx is recommanded! Pretty excellent sound quality.   BTW, you still need a pair of good headphone to fit this card.

Recommand you to have xonar DX, cuz creative's driver is really terrible.

Can't agree with Chuckiefresh...   I would recommand anything but creative x-fi, cuz i used to have one but what it did for me is only crackling noise...   Also creative's customer service and refund process were terrible!   xonar's much better...
