SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
Ok that makes sense. Unfortunately, there is no direct Sony support or even any form of audio store near me. I actually ordered mine through Best Buy. It was a special order item they had to order through a specific store then have it transferred to one near me.- AudioTransit9213

Would Sony still repair it after having it this long?- AudioTransit9213

I have had my AM2 for a bit over 2 years. Unfortunately, my 4.4mm balanced connection seems to have developed some sort of issue. The signal cuts in and out very badly. It's worse on my JH Audio Jolene iem's, but happens with other headphones as well. I can plug the exact same iem's, headphones...- AudioTransit9213

Mine feels completely solid. I'm really hoping it was just a piece of lint or something got in the socket and made a temporary connection issue. Again, seemed to happen twice back to back and hasn't happened since. Thanks for the input tho. Definitely something to watch out for.- AudioTransit9213

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
Just had a strange experience with my 1am2. Suddenly my left iem stopped playing. Unplugged the cable and heard a connection noise. Plugged it back in, works perfectly fine. Did this twice in a row and hasn't happened again. Anyone else experienced this or have any idea what it could've been?- AudioTransit9213

Reply to review by 'AudioTransit9213' on item 'dCS Lina Network DAC, Headphone Amplifier, and Master Clock'
I believe it said "remote volume control". There's definitely a large volume knob on the amplifier.- AudioTransit9213

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I've had my Diana TC for a couple weeks now. Unfortunately, desktop gear is not something I've invested in due to my schedule and not really having much time to use such things. However, the Astell&Kern Kann Max, to my ears, drives these beautifully. I'm sure there's much more to be unlocked in...- AudioTransit9213

ABYSS Diana TC Custom Shop
Also, would like to really thank Joe for being so helpful. I called in to ask about running these with my dap's as my use case is somewhat different from most in that I really only use portable gear because my schedule doesn't really allow me much time for desktop gear to truly be worth...- AudioTransit9213

I know it does, I just meant it doesn't record that time on the timer. Like you said, just lazy programming. They could've easily built a timer to clock the system rather than one solely built into the Walkman app.- AudioTransit9213
