I'm using my 501-mk2 with a Susvara Unveiled (from the headphone output) and it works very well. I don't hear any ill effects from being limited by power, especially at 0dB. (Note though that the Susvara Unveiled is a lot more efficient than the original Susvara.)

Just ordered a Susvara Unveiled! Out of curiosity: is this considered a step up in technicalities, especially resolution and transparency, from an LCD-5?

My hum is from the PSM156 itself, not from the tube amp.

Haha, it already HAS recommended a tube that doesn't exist! It recommended the Tungsram "black glass" 12AU7, when I mistakenly typed Tungsram instead of Tung-Sol. It told me it's an excellent tube. :)

Yes, whenever it needs to search the web for an answer (as opposed to being pre-trained on the information it needs to provide an answer), it will not be as good.

Does anyone use ChatGPT for Hifi recommendations? I've been experimenting with it for tube rolling recommendations, and am finding the output quite impressive and consistent with some of my subjective impressions. However I feel like sometimes it's just "telling me what I want to hear" instead...
