Can you ask Schiit to compensate you for the shipping cost if you decided to have them take a look of this unit one more time? I had to pay shipping cost to send my MJ3 back to SoCal to replace two blown capacitors two months ago. I also just bought the Yggy+ GS2 too... Hope the new unit will...

I enjoy NOS on my Yggy+ GS2 as well (just received the unit March 29th). The sound from the NOS mode is somewhat more spacious. I think the GS2 has better synergy with the MJ3 than the BF 2/64 in my system. The overall sonic presentation is smoother with slightly more details at the same time...

Just FYI, the MJ3 also does not weigh 16 pounds like indicated in its website. Its weight is 12.2 pounds without the packaging materials and the power cord. I noticed FedEx indicated that the whole MJ3 package was 14 pounds when it shipped to my house so the amp itself cannot be 16 pounds...
