    ER6 sound problems

well i find if i jiggle the cord where its attached to the driver it will come back. This can be instantly or may take 10 seconds. Pretty annoying. If i turn my head to make sure im not going to get run over it could also stop driving the channel. might just bite the bullet and get the er6i...

    n00b PPA question

Quote: 1000 to 2000 μF is a good range to stay within. You may want to use all nine positions if you're using caps with a low capacitance density, such as Black Gates, Cerafines or Silmics. i need to look into this power issue more .. damn n00biness

    n00b PPA question

Panasonic FC , too much hassle getting cerafines etc as im way down in Australia.. its much easier to get all parts from like 2 suppliers

    n00b PPA question

i can only get my hands on a 24V regulated PSU. would 35v caps be wasteful or 25V be ok? is there any audible difference in this?

    best surround solution??

i am going to sit back and wait to see what doom3 needs in terms of sound.. hmm just waiting on my av-710 for musical playback as well as DVD movies etc..i cant really justify a purchase of a soundcard (audigy2) just for some sound acceleration.. that wont take too many frames anyway.

    best surround solution??

Quote: Connecting Digital Speaker Systems The Digital Out output on your Audigy 2 ZS or Audigy 2 ZS Platinum is continuously active except during DVD-Audio playback. Enabling the Digital Output Only selection in Creative Speaker Settings will disable analog speaker output. It is not...

    n00b needs help picking soundcard

i think the Zalman phones have pretty bad record in these types of forums the question is how much you wanna spend.. personally im in the same dilemma, however i found out that doom3 does not use all Creatives 3d sound etc it uses the CPU instead.. im throwing away the idea of a audigy..
