    Please help w/1212 question...

I still can't get it to work w/iTunes...I can get a test tone to work, but not mp3s in itunes or foobar. I've reduced the patchmix app down to the wave l/r strip, and that's it. I'm using the default patchmix setup when I open the app. Any ideas?

iPod - Is there a difference between ER-4P and ER-4P with S converter cable?

I've used my ER-4S w/the iriver 120 and the 4g ipod and the mini, and I prefer the ER-4S to Shure e2s and Senn HD 25-1's, if that's any help.

Quick impressions: NAD c542 vs IHP-120

I would think that the NAD should whoop the trousers off the iriver. I have a NAD cd player and an iriver. Also, I have compared my NAD to my Philips 963, and I like the NAD more for redbook.

    Really quick ihp-120 / 4g ipod comparison

Yeah, we used .wavs exclusively. The .wavs were encoded using iTunes' encoder. The .wavs were from the same cds, encoded on the same computer. We tried to keep everything pretty controlled in that regard.

    Buy iHP-120 now, or wait?

hey dudes. I just bought one on a lark from Best Buy because of their return policy. My friend just bought a 4th gen ipod a few days ago and I have listened to that a bit. I was pretty sure I'd return the iriver, because I *really* like the 4th gen ipod. BUT....the sound is incredible with...

    CMoy hum, but strange...

The last 15% of the work on the CMoy has taken upo 75% of my time, but that's how it goes the first time around, I guess...gettin there slowly, but surely. I've just connected my input and am testing it out. Everything seems fine except when the amp is on, but the source (sony MZ-R50)...

Any sites/books that teach how to read schematics?

i'm noticing a lot of amp instructions are just schematics with basic instructions, rather than Tangent-style in-depth instructions. Only problem, I can't read schematics...

    basic CMOY questions

Well, thanks again to Tangent, Meat01, Sycraft, and Earwax for all the help. I tested the sound using Tangent's Alligator clip method and after replacing an M jumper (those things are a doozy), everything seems to be working. A very exciting day for me. I plan to finish the enclosure by this...

thanks Meat, I will check into chip schematics next time. Didn't think to do that. Would that make pin 8 caddy corner to pin 4 or would pin 8 be straight across from 4?

    basic CMOY questions

Ok, I'm hooking the V+ and V- wires up to the v+ and v- legs on the opamp. The instructions say that the wires hook up the 4th and 8th leg. How do I determine which legs these are? Are they the two legs closest to the power suplly or furthest from it? I'm gonna try the two closest legs...
