I still can't get it to work w/iTunes...I can get a test tone to work, but not mp3s in itunes or foobar. I've reduced the patchmix app down to the wave l/r strip, and that's it. I'm using the default patchmix setup when I open the app. Any ideas?

I've used my ER-4S w/the iriver 120 and the 4g ipod and the mini, and I prefer the ER-4S to Shure e2s and Senn HD 25-1's, if that's any help.

I would think that the NAD should whoop the trousers off the iriver. I have a NAD cd player and an iriver. Also, I have compared my NAD to my Philips 963, and I like the NAD more for redbook.

Yeah, we used .wavs exclusively. The .wavs were encoded using iTunes' encoder. The .wavs were from the same cds, encoded on the same computer. We tried to keep everything pretty controlled in that regard.
