It's a shame that fiio didn't want to fix double albums in category mode.

Or is it just for me that it don't work

Hi, the first picture shows the Album when going access "Category" on your X3, and the other 2 shows the songs in the "Browse files", right? So the songs from "1-01" to "1-13" and from "2-01" to "2-04" belongs to different albums, but all of them are categorized to the same album?
Not sure your meaning, and it will be better if you can provide more details. Thanks in advance. :)

Yep it's category first and other browser mode.

I shouldn't couldn't say it better

It's a two cd album. 'The Wall', so he'd want both in the same folder in order to be able to play through both. It's also gapless in places which can also cause problems.

why you don't try appending a zero to the albun number like this

01-01-track lalala.flac
01-02-dhfkdhfdfc.flac
....
01-nth track
02-01 bla bla bla.flac
02-02-xyz.flac
02-03 aaaaa.flac
....
02-nth track of disc2

That will work and is what I used to have to do in Winamp.

1 was 01, and if it has 2 discs it would be 101 for disc 1 track 1 and 201 for disc 2 track 1.

01-02-dhfkdhfdfc.flac

It's sorting problem it only sorts by track number.

Adding zero won't work.

I know 101 ...201 but it's a workaround.

I just stopped using library its too buggy only browse mode for me it's a better workaround.

I have an X3 (1st gen) with the latest firmware 3.4.

How can I find the serial number of the device?

When I go to "About X3" there is no field that lists the serial number.

Thank you!

Iirc the serial number is on the retail box and not on the device.

Thank you mate, I checked it but I'm using 3.34 Beta on the dap and I like the sound features more on 3.34 beta rather than final firmware. That's why I'm looking for it as DAC driver as well.

Have you tried the latest DAC driver?

By the way. personally I think 3.4 was the best sound signature ever for this unit.  But mileages will vary.

This link is the thread for the FiiO X1 which is pretty different to the player (X3) that we discuss in this thread.
