Yay! The price got cut. I don't know if I should be excited or disappointed. On the good side, these are HD 650's. On the bad side, the used market went belly up. You can't sell a pair of 650's at anywhere close to retail value if you paid retail value for it. Also, the 600's and 650's need updating, keeping the modularity, but giving them angled drivers.

Hi all. I'm a bit too lazy to search, but I heard from someone today that the Massdrop 6xx is tuned slightly differently with more rolled off treble than the 650. Is this true, and if so, how much does it affect the sound?

From what I've read (haven't received my HD6XX yet and don't own the HD650) the differences between them is the same as between an old and a brand new HD650. So the only difference is the cable, colour, and badge.
