Yes, they are an upgrade to the E80. I just got the X5 3rd Gen. and with that wow do these sound good. I have to say the Bass isn't as bad as i thought. I was using a Samsung S6 Edge Plus to test and with the X5 what a difference with it and these 2nd gen.. These have better clarity, soundstage and just a better sound signature overall compared to the E80 to me.

Cool. Judging from some of the reviews I fear they might be a bit too bright for me, but promising that you are liking the X5 3rd combo - which is the same as I will have (just ordered my EX1 2nd).

What about bass, that's the one thing I'd like to improve on the e80?

Dear friend,

We have received the email you sent.

All the remote control is not available when the screen lock? What about when screen is on?

Have you turned on the in-line remote from settings--audio settings?

What about the key-lock settings? Do you have another in-line control headphones? Will another headphones have the same issue?

I recently Got Fiio EX-1 Second Gen, I like to know or (I didn't find anywhere)How are the Sets of Silicon Tips bundled with this product change the Sound?

All Black Tips = Do What ? (This one slightly large openings)
All Red Tips = Slight Increase Of Bass? (Less Openings)

Large Size This Color Tips & Medium Size This Color Tips = Doing What ? (Find Similar To Red One in Sound Signature)

Please let me know - Thanks.

The three different kinds of ear tips are in different material. Each material has three different sizes. You can choose the most suitable one for yourself for better enjoying the music.:gs1000smile:

Can you please help me making my next purchase? Can anyone give me a comparison between Fiio EX1 2nd gen and Havi B3 Pro 1 in terms of soundstage, clarity, quality and quantity of bass? I've read a lot from other people saying that both of them have an out of the head soundstage, headphone-like experience. Let's say I'm gonna watch a movie with it, will it sound like I'm inside a theater and which one of them can replicate that? I also prefer hearing all drum parts like hi-hats, bass drum and the tom-toms with great detail like matt mcguire's drum covers. Which of them will you prefer to me?

How are these compared to RE-400, which would be a better deal, I just require a balanced sounding IEM, and even if comparison of both is possible with Brainwavz M1 cause that's what I've been using.

The tuning compared with EX1 was greatly improved, vocals sound sublime, so clear and in-your-face and the bass is much stronger. What impresses me the most about this IEM is the openness, it's unlike anything I've tried IEM related. Not even my 8-10 driver IEMs sound this open and airy. Instrument separation is stunning. They sound better than the iBasso IT03 Triple Driver and FLC8S. So open, so immersive, so detailed, so clear and transparent in the mids and highs. The experience is quite unique.
