I'm a new member (not even an hour old) and I am having the same problem trying to create a signature by selecting "Edit my signature" from the pulldown menu by my user name in the upper right of any page on the site.  I am using Safari 8.0.6 on Mac OS 10.10.3.  Do I just need to wait a bit, since I am such a new member?

As stated at the top of the Feedback and Bug Reports forum:
 

Can't edit your profile, signature or avatar or create galleries or lists? Due to problems with spam bots, new users will need to have made 10 posts, or be a member for 15 days and made 5 posts before they can edit their profile or signature or create lists or galleries.

I am having the same problem. I got "You are not permitted to edit this signature." when I tried to do it. Also I can't edit my avatar either. Is there any place I can look up my permission status?

@AtrafCreez - You should be able to edit your signature already. I'm not seeing any issues that would prevent you from editing yours.

It seems as if signature editing is broken for all users currently. that is at least what I understood from Curry's post in my thread.
