I feel so fulfilled that I could generate such an enlightened debate on the merits of coffee and other imbibatory substances......

Now, back to my coffee.........

I've tried many coffees, including expensive gourmet ones, but Starbucks Flat White with extra shot is still my favorite.

Big fan of Ethiopian Sidamo. Fruit like overtones are awesome!

It’s not a special gourmet coffee, but my favorite everyday coffee is Cafe Du Monde, coffee and chicory. I especially like it cold brewed, which is some of the smoothest, richest, darkest coffee.

Let's face it - coffee is a beautiful thing anyway you slice it.

I have three whole bean varieties I am currently rotating through (Kenya AA, South American, and Intelligentsia). Good stuff!

Personally I think I may have to agree with the Italians though that espresso is the best in my opinion. But I still enjoy other types too in other countries/ cultures.

Here’s a fun fact. Back in the old days coffee portion sizes were smaller in the USA

On the left side is a coffee cup from the 1970s (I got from eBay). The cup on the right is from around 2004.
