Memory Wire Poking Through Rubber Casing - MEelectronics M6
Quote: But is there any risk of damage, if I keep the wire in? I personally don't mind the wire. Quote: Is there any way to check which type of wire I have, without opening up the rubber casing? My pair shipped to me, on June 14, 2010.- AdemoS

Memory Wire Poking Through Rubber Casing - MEelectronics M6
Well thank you for sharing your experience TheGame21x, it's comforting to hear that I don't have to worry. I'm still curious though; when I got the headphones the memory wire was hidden inside, now it's poking out...but I guess it doesn't matter was long as the wire doesn't pop out.- AdemoS

Memory Wire Poking Through Rubber Casing - MEelectronics M6
Thanks for the quick reply, TheGame21x. Are you sure it's fine? It seems like the rubber-casing is going to split open? Is it normal for the memory wire to poke through? Do you know why this occurs and if there's a way to restore the memory wire's original position?- AdemoS

Wrap-around Earbuds with Most Durable Cord
I have been through many earbud brands, and while sound-quality varied one thing was always the same; the cord broke... Either the speaker-wire inside the cord-casing broke, (silencing one of the buds) or the cord-casing itself, would just split and fall apart. Therefore, my...- AdemoS

1/4 to 1/8 inch Jack Conversion
Today I read a long review about the best headphones for mp3 players, and I like this pair the best. AKG K271MKII This issue is, AKG K271MKII doesn't have a nice super-durable cord, and they can't fold up for storage. But the pair does allow you to replace the cord if it dies, and they...- AdemoS

1/4 to 1/8 inch Jack Conversion
First of all thank you for the quick feedback. I looked at the brands you mentioned, but all of them appear to be standard in-ear headphones. Though they probably produce great sound, my reason for choosing studio headphones instead of the smaller types, was very simple: the cord...- AdemoS

1/4 to 1/8 inch Jack Conversion
If my source was a portable media player and I wanted to connect it to studio headphones via a cord adapter, would the audio output be loud enough to hear? Also, which brand would you guys recommend for the cord adapter? And, should I bother with a portable amp? Because it seems like too...- AdemoS
