I would be suprised based on hype surrounding amr ifi idac, if you could not pick it out on a blind listening test. Looking forward to your thoughts on this unit while I wait for mine to show.......   Paired with the iusb it is supposedly even more amazing they say, but thats another 200...

Regarding COWON, I am on my second and it is a 16 GB Iaudio 7. One thing, no one mentioned FLAC which is why I bought this player. RIP CDS in FLAC (lossless) vs lossy mp3. Almost 1/2 the space of WAV. Listen lossless I say. To RIP with FLAC I recommend EAC or exact audio copy. See hydrogen audio...
