Hi, I don't recall seeing too many headphone amps that has cross feed circuit. In general, are they useful or just gimmicks? I recalled having an old Headroom demo and I do not hear any meaningful improvement, just different. With the crossfeed turned on, imaging shifted and a bit diffused...

OK, I got it today. My first impression is not that great. The bass is thin, and the lower-midrange sucked out. With bass drums, there seem to have 'mechanical resonance' kind of chaffing sound.

Hi, I have an older ER-4S, I think they were dated back to 1997. I used them only when I am taking a flight. However, lately when I compared them to the Shure 530 and Nuforce NE7M, I find that the ER-4S lacking. I am curious whether converting them to ER-4P would improves the sound but...
