What is the best way people have found to clean their IEMs (particulary e500/se530) that is quick and easy, particularly the nozzle part?

I have my 500+ cds on a digital audio server in full linear pcm. I can record the signal digitally and play the entire disk as one track, but is there any software that can take the pcm material and automatically break it into tracks and do a track by track conversion to a compressed format?

Does anyone else hear their footsteps while walking with IEMs (e500 in my case)? The thud sound of my footsteps are conducting through the IEMs. Anyone else experience this.? Is there any way to minimize this as it is somewhat disctracting.
