Sennheiser Momentum Replacement Cables
Same, I assume he's referring to the dozens of aftermarket cables that simply use Furutechs name to sell their product by using one or more of their connector parts. In the end that's probably the most important part of the cable though. It really depends on your use what you should be looking...- Malakei

line out interconnect for zune?
IMO no contest between zune and ipod HP out. Zune wins hands down without a doubt. Cleaner, more dynamic and punchier bottom end. I have both the 6thgen 80gb classic and the zune80 the ipod will get sold for sure. Wish there were more accessories for the zune but theres still enough out there... -

FLAC on 6th Gen ipoD??
Been using DBA for converting to ALAC and it seems to be going well so far, i can actually tell a difference but its only at high volumes which i think is due to ALACs higher compression, or perhaps just isnt as good im not sure. Or perhaps a FLAC [if playable on an IPOD] would sound the same...- Malakei

DT880 vs D2000 vs MS-2i vs AD900 vs HD600
If your considering hd600s dont rule out modded hd580s could get equal if not better sound for the same price simply by purchasing 580s with 600 grills and 650 or other aftermarket cable. There is a pair currently for sale by a headfier for 180 which is a good deal. Good luck- Malakei

Whats the retail on these bad boys?? I may consider buying a used set down the line but i doubt there will be many out there. I have a feeling these will be too much cash for me to drop on iems just cant justify spending money that can go towards my 2ch system or my music selection :P- Malakei

iPod, DAC options?? Portability?? HELP! :P

Why lossless on portables?
Its not that the lossless format sounds so much better then the 320mp3, its that often, the people that have taken the time to rip cds to lossless are more careful and usualy your lossless downloads are of suprerior quality. Swap your FLACs and ALACs over to 320 with some care and im sure youll...- Malakei
