Interesting that these threads usually blow up with reviews when JH releases a new product and this one appears to be getting none.  Wonder if they did actually price themselves out of the market?

Now that the pricing for the custom version ($2,595) has come out, I am having a hard time deciding whether I should upgrade to the Roxannes or Laylas from my JH13s.  It is almost a 60% premium and I am not sure the "flatter" sound signature is something I would be interested in.

Agree.  We were told repeatedly that the Roxanne would be the flagship for a couple of years.  To release this new model this quickly and jack the price up over the current flagship by 2/3 is just a slap in the face to their existing customers.  I would LOVE to hear their justification for the...

So what exactly are they?  A replacement for the Roxanne?  Universals?  Trying to decide whether I should upgrade my JH13s to the Roxanne.....

Any rumblings about an update/replacement for the Roxanne?  I am thinking about upgrading from my JH13s, but when I bought those the 16s came out a couple months later.  Would like to avoid the same mistake.

Tried the rice thing, helped but didn't fix them 100%.  I am going to send them back to JH and see what they say.

Thanks, I read that and it helped me develop my list.  Hoping someone might chime in with a little advice specific to my musical tastes.   The more I read, the more it seems like the new JH13 model would be a good fit.

The iBasso D4 cost $219 and the Pico with DAC cost $499.  I try to avoid price and just buy the best gear, but most reviews seem to think the quality is equal.  Any reason why I should spend the extra cash on a Pico or Predator?

^^I want a LED flashlight for everyday use that isn't the size of a musical instrument and doesn't measure battery life in minutes. Besides that I have no real "criteria".

Anything out there that would be considered better then the Surefire LX2, in a similar size? Price not an issue.
