I preferred DT880 600 to K340 with Zana (soundstage, transparency, comfort, maybe detail etc.)

I am with you, ER4P second day, sound isolation with clear sound is for me new great experience after stock earbuds...

Maybe in future. I am satisfied now and my wallet will not help me. Everytime it is possible to fall in upgraditis.

After 2 years with dynamic rig (at the end was Zana Deux + DT880 600 Ohm, K340) I took my chance and changed to electrostatic. My equipment is Sony CDP 777es, SRM-T1S, SR-Omega, Sigma Pro and backup SRD-7 mkII. What can I say? Sigma Pro and DT880 with ZD was only about preference and on the...

I vote for trying DT880 - detail, soundstage etc.

My opinion - use every kind of communication.. it is his responsibility (I have experience in other case)

Thank you all. About heat... during continuous burn-in I was cautious but the shelf has normal temperature, no smell or flames You can roll 6SL7 for sonic changes, you can find expert posts from granodemostasa and ironbut.
