What are some headphones similar to the Philips Fidelio X1s?

Used to own a pair, dropped them and they broke, ended up buying X2s to replace and they just aren't the same. The bass in the X1 was really good for open back headphones. Basically I'm looking for open back headphones with good bass, similar to X1's.

Anyone know of a long, coiled headphone cable under $20

About as long as my DT-770s, which is like about 4 feet, unstretched, although a bit loosely coiled cause I've had them for awhile now.

Anyone know of a long, coiled headphone cable under $20

So I have a pair of headphones now that I'm using, although sometimes I wear my DT-770s, and the long coiled cable is really convenient and nice to have, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good male to male 3.5mm cable that's coiled, long and doesn't screw up audio for under $20. (don't know...

They're a lot cheaper than XS's but just don't have that many features, also they seem more like they're made for more laid back music.

Okay thanks for the help, thinking I'll stick to X1's because a lot of reviews say they have good bass even though they're open. I also had another question if you see this, I was looking at V-MODA XS's for traveling use and was wondering if you knew of any other fairly small, closed portable...

Meh, I'm sort of leaning away from amps because they're inconvenient, I was thinking about getting DT-990's but yeah, like I said don't really wanna deal with having to look into amps and all that stuff just because I know little to nothing about it and I prefer getting highest or very close to...

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

Hi, thanks for all of your help, you're right that the amp isn't ideal for mobile use, because I hate having so many cables for it to have good sound quality. Now that I've read Mad Lust Envy's review and others, I've decided that the Phillips Fidelio X1 is a really good choice for home use. So...

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

So that I can use them at home to listen to music and play games. I think you misunderstood, because obviously if they're open it wouldn't be a good idea to use in a noisy environment with a lot of people around me, but I still want to be able to bring them places with me.

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

Most of the time I'll be using them at home and it's not really noisy or anything, but every so often I'll need to use them around like 15 other people where it is pretty noisy, so I guess I'm kind of screwed there. And I don't really know the terms to describe sound characteristics that you're...

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

I'm looking for music headphones that I could take with me places though, I'm not looking for gaming optimized headphones or anything. I was considering HD 598s or M50s for that sort of thing..

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

Yeah I mainly just wanted to hear myself better because I realized when I took them off after playing games I realized I would be talking louder and so that means I was talking loud while playing games, and sometimes I say things I don't really want my entire house to hear. I originally wanted...

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

Okay I appreciate the help, I knew the main question of the original post was gonna make me sound dumb but I just wanted to see if something like that existed, where I can hear outside sounds well but not have people be able to hear everything that I'm listening to.

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

I can spend up to about 250. Are you meaning having my microphone play back what I am saying into it to myself? I wouldn't be able to stand that.

Open headphones that keep sound from going out?

So I'm looking to buy some new open headphones since I enjoy both gaming and listening to music, and my DT-770's block out sound and I don't like it because I speak a lot louder, so I'm looking for open headphones that let sound in but don't let it come out (don't know if those exist) I also...

    DT-770 250 ohm + FiiO E11 or DT-770 32 ohm

Yeah it's either the E09K or the E10 right now, Mont Blanc is way out of my price range especially just for an amp.

    DT-770 250 ohm + FiiO E11 or DT-770 32 ohm

I don't know about you but the Mont Blanc seems overkill for what I need, also looking for an amp/DAC in 1 and Mont Blanc is just an amp as far as I know. I'll definitely consider the E07K, although the E10 is a lot cheaper.
