Mine does. In my experience toroidal transformers rarely buzz, but the one inside Pegasus does a bit. Tightening or loosening the screw under it reduces the noise and you may hear a slight change in sound quality as well. For better? Not really.

Notice that Gustard usually puts the same fuse in equipment meant for Europe (230V) and other continents (110-120V). The European fuse amperage should be lower, but the difference is small and they probably think it's not worth the hassle.

Special footers are really worthwile with Pegasus. The three cones it has may look cool, but those small silicone pads under them are not a solid idea.

If you are after a smoother sound, coax could be better. I find the USB more detailed, but I also use USB filters and a Lumin streamer so it's supposedly "clean".
