Just wanted to know if anybody else encountered the same issue. :grin: thank you guys

I'm pretty aware that can happen. But I'm sure it's not a vacuum. It happens when I apply a certain amount of pressure on the connectors, like when I am mplding the memory wire etc.. . I'm sure I have a faulty unit.. .I'm jusy gonna get it replaced.

While I'm putting them on or takingthem off...

I got sound cutting issues on my pair. Not sure if its the cables or the IEMs themselves, but sometimes while I'm putting them on or taking them out, if I apply pressure on the connectors a certain way, sound disappears. It's a worse on the cable with no memory wire, but it also happens on the 2...

Nope, just a humble DIY'er. :-) He calls that cable the "Orochi" cable.. . 8-strand pure copper - pure silver hybrid... . Tried it myself.. .

I've tried those cables and they're awesome.. . The maker is a personal friend of mine and is one of our audiophile community's main cable guys.

FiiO X1 (3,500php ... used) + ADV.SOUND M4 (1,900php) = 5,400php or just a little over 100usd ..ehehe.. . And the Spiral Dot Tips in a swap.. .

Yeah, I am under the same impression. And the bass doesn't seem bloated either... I have an ADV.SOUND M4 to compare it to.

Subbed. Very satisfied user here. I saw some people here use Klipsch tips, but personally, I love them with wide bore tips. So far, they are holding up really well. I'd prolly change the plug later to a neutrik or viablue.. . Something more substantial... Bottom line: No bad. Not bad AT ALL.

Lol... . I think I phrased it wrong.. .hahaha.. . But anyway, I made it to the minimum allowed price point..lol.. . Both the X1 and IM70 don't go lower than a hundred dollars each.. . That being said, I have sold every other IEM I've ever owned and settled with the IM70 for the long run. I can't...

Barely made it..lol.. . FiiO X1, Audio-Technica ATH-IM70 (SRP at about 100usd each)...

Well, if you don't really care about sound quality, then go for the Shures. The IM70 is bulkier than the SE215 but they fit me pretty well. I like the connectors on the IM70 tho, better than the MMCX ones on the SE215. They click into place, don't swivel so there is absolutely no sound-cutting...

Is it me or was there a sonic change?.. . It's not as warm or muddy anymore.. .
