What about the Gemini DJ HSR-1000? Do they sound the exact same as the Kingston HyperX Cloud and Takstar Pro 80? Can anyone else confirm?- cheuh

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Highly recommended game. Excellent game to play with a group of friends. I have over 1k hours on this game and it's a ton of fun. It's also a great game to test out the soundstage and imaging/positional accuracy of your headphones. Get it while it's still free...- cheuh

AKG k550 VS Akg q701 vs DT990 sound signature
It could be harsh if you're not use to it... or turn them up too loudly. It would probably be best if you ask people in the Q701 thread or have a listen to them yourself.- cheuh

Headphones you regretted buying the most
X2... I felt the same way when I got my Ultrasones 750s. Too much boomy/muddy bass, unnatural mids and congested soundstage IMO.- cheuh

HE-400 vs. HE-500 vs. HE-4 Comparison
X2... not to mention you need to factor in the cost of a decent/powerful amp to drive them to their full potential. Same thing goes for the HE-4. I would love try them out, but they require a powerful amp to sound their best.- cheuh

100 pushups? You must be pretty ripped bro. I've never done any specific neck exercises (I've just stuck with the basic compound movements: bench/squat/deadlift) and have never had issues with the weight of the heavier headphones such as LCD2 and HE-500. This. ...- cheuh

Recommend gaming headphones $400-$500
I heard they are great for gaming, but for music they aren't refined as the mid-fi headphones? From Mad Lust Envy's gaming guide:- cheuh

Do you think the ma900s are better than the hd650 or do you just prefer them? I've read that the sonys aren't even at the mid fi level.- cheuh

Hifiman HE-4 Impressions Thread
Thanks for the impressions. It's a shame that they are so hard to drive... because I would love to try these out if they beat out the HE-400s. What's the minimum / low cost amp requirement to drive these? Oh and I was wondering how does the mid range for vocals compare to your HD580...- cheuh

Do they sound anything like the Ultrasone Pro 750's? I've auditioned those and I didn't like them TBH. They sounded very 'low fi' compared to HE-400. I know it's not fair to compare them since one is closed back and the other is an open back, but the 750's had too much one-noted muddy bass...- cheuh
