Nice write up. I read a review of the Bricasti on one of the speaker forums and the reviewer echoed most of your views.

I haven't heard everything since I'm relatively new to Head-fi but I find that the LCD-3 and Stax 007.2 headphones do tonality really well and sound at least as natural as my much more expensive speaker rig.

Wonder if Audez'e bring their studio monitors there. I'm pretty interested in them. Hopefully there'll be some more impressions from this show as the monitors didn't see to get much coverage in the previous shows like RMAF 2011 due to the LCD-3s

Got a chance to put an M51>M3 combo up against the M2 through PSB Synchrony One speakers. It was quite interesting hearing the two NAD systems go up against each other. Both were rather impressive. The M51>M3 combo was a little bit less detailed but seemed to have a slight edge in bass texture...

I'd look for second hand stuff at that price. Might be able to get some krk rockits

Just saw this DAC in a shop window. Looks pretty nice for the price. Might pop in one day to give it a try.

Great write up. Think your LCD-3 should be the "non-veiled" version if you got it pretty recently and it has a graph that is flat till 2000hz. Love your review style though.
