Listening to my MX980's right now and love them! The only problem I have is that you know the rubber bits right on the end/outside of the buds, one of them keeps coming off, i'm lucky that i've always found it and now everytime I use them or take them out I have to check to see if the rubber...

UPDATE:   Just wanted to say i've had the MX980s just under a week and they are amazing! Already on par with my MX760s (even the bass) and they aren't even burnt in yet :D   Don't know why some people have said they are massive... unless my ears are aha but all in all, they are great...

Is the bass on the mx980 better than the mx760?   And also, are they much bigger than the mx760?   I'm just going to use the mx980 with my laptop and mobile, no amp, so is it really worth it? I just want something better (or on par) with my dying mx760.

When was the 980 released then?   And finally, since you own both the 760 and 980, is the 980 bud much bigger? I've seen comparisons to Yuin buds and 880 and 980 but not 760 and 980... I don't think i'd want to go much bigger than my 760's.
