I've noticed with my AAC rips that the music sounds harsher and less nuanced, whereas MP3 is less so. Just my 2 cents.

so what im getting is that this is just an add-on that happens to bring up impedance? That makes more sense. It sounds completely rediculous for someone to artificially bring up impedance for the sake of sound quality, after all, the driver's still receiving the same voltage.

Am I the only one to think they're a bit bass-light and fatiguing?  I hear both slowly easing away with burn-in but I wish that the bass was better extended in both directons.
