Quote: Of these 3 headphones, I will choose the M50. Good bass and isolation not too overpowering on the mids and most important not too expensive.- Liplip

New Flagship from Audio-Technica: ATH-W3000ANV, 50th Anniversary Headphones
Quote: Tested the W3000ani at stereo today. The gloss woodie is really making me drool. I did not have a chance to audition long enough as there were quite a few guys waiting for a try. It could be probably a new and limited edition model, hence the crowd and attention. But I...- Liplip

All these hype about the AKG 3003 is making me curious. Might make a trip to stereo and give it a try. I guess the good thing about living in Singapore is its a small country that makes shopping so easy.- Liplip

TDK BA200 Thread
Quote: Yeah, I think so too. Darker sounding IEM make it sound boring after some time. But too bright causes ear fatigue after long hours. Boy... We are really hard to please.- Liplip

Help me understand what I'm hearing - X10 vs TF10
Lesser bass on the klipsch x10, soundstage not as wide. TF10, tighter bass, forward midrange, more equalize sound.. Or maybe exciting... But fitting not fantastic.- Liplip

Headphones with good bass
Any of the Sony XB series will give you lots of bass, but if you want something more portable, try the AKG K518LE, small light and portable with tons of bass. Actually the Audio technica Pro700 wasn't that bad either but you need to pay more for it.- Liplip

Is there a switch or selector?
Quote: I think QED have quite a range of selectors like Speaker or HDMI. But for headphones, if you can't find, the QED input selector might be able to be use for headphones but you would have to get a adapter from RCA to 3.5mm stereo.- Liplip

My ears hurt with the tri flanges as well, especially when I inserted in deeper to get a better seal. I'm more comfortable with comply foams.- Liplip

v-moda vibrato/alternative?
The Dr. Dre series aren't too fantastic but the turbine didn't sounded too bad. But another to consider and compatible with the IPhone including built in mic is the B&W C5. It does looks slightly peculiar when you wear it for the first time but it is accommodating to most genres of music and is...- Liplip

SE 535s.....OMG!!!!!!!!
You can also wait till you get tired of the 535 and do a reshell customs using back the existing internal drivers or maybe add more drivers. It's like having a new pair of earphones and you can choose new colors, artwork and make the whole thing interesting again .- Liplip

Just can't decide. SE215 vs HF5 vs X10
How about the Westone 1? The fit and comfort for the Westone series are fantastic. Fit your need in looking for a earphone with clarity and good soundstage. One my friends is using the Westone 1 for his daily jog. If it still works for him, that should be durable enough.- Liplip
