iPod Nano > iBasso T5 > Ultrasone 780s.   To make it really portable I want to get a set of 1964-Q but as said earlier, hard to justify the cost to the wife.

Nothing yet.  I queried them about some of the differences between the T3D and the T5 and when it would be released and all I got as a response was that it was going to be released within 1 week (advised this on the 12th) and that it was overall better than the T3D.   So not much detail and...

To throw in another dac/amp you could look at iBasso.  I don't own, but have read a lot of good reviews when compared to FIIO and they are in the same price range ($100-300).  I am going to pick up the new T5 amp to go with my HiFi-780's when they release it next week (hopefully).   Quote...
