Maybe I misread. And added the two 00s accidentally. I used them for some gaming and they are quite great for that actually. The highs and accuracy really shine for it. They are just really hard to drive sadly but then again so are the AKG K712s and DT 1990 which are the audiophile gaming...

Did you ever try the fenstrated pads? I put the elite sheepskins on from Dekoni and seems to tame the shrillness of the treble and smooth out the bass. imaging seems to still be there. It was hairy at first but once the pads settled in they worked pretty good. I got them for $200 used (barely)...

Hey I just got a pair of TH610s and love them. Except for the pads. I don't mind EQing but since I wear glasses I wanted something memory foam so I was looking at ZMF Eikons or Oris. I'm leaning towards Oris with possibly picking up the Dekoni attenuation rings as some found they match well...
