I have the 800's. I was wondering if the way they do it, somehow affect the overall quality (incl. sound) of the headphones.

not sure about lossless, but XM radio has 24/7 stations for 40's and 50's only.

Yeah, I'll try my Headroom Amp/DAC as a DAC first with the WA2 and see how it sounds. I'll have to wait a couple of weeks to try it after I order it. :(

Thanks,    I am not looking for a huge upgrade, but a small one (if my budget limits it). Most likely to upgrade from solid state to tube.   I'm looking at the WA2, but I need a DAC. If you say in need to look higher than the bifrost, then what would be another - affordable - option.
