Like the title says, what would be the poor man's Ultrasone Pro 900's?  Is it HFI-580's, DT770s, DJ1 Pro, FA-011?!?  What would you guys recommend for someone who loved the sound of the Pro's but just can't get to that $300 price point?

It looks like the Turtle Beach z6a uses an OEM of Ultrasone's headband, got me to thinking that perhaps a headband swap would make the HFi's more comfortable.  Anyone know of a distributor forTurtle Beach parts? 

Revisiting the V900HD questions, seems this place is flooded with the evils of Chinese knockoffs but what about the real deals?  I have a pair and they sound like a decent studio monitor.  Kind of bland if you like heavy bass and sparkly highs but their mids sound pretty damn good and they do...
