I bought from Earphone Solutions on 8/23/10   So I doubt they're in warranty.  I wonder what the fix would cost.  I am in Chicago, I'll have to check to see where a rep would be.   edit:  from the Shure sit, I think this is it - SE535 (L/R Earbud) $84.00

so I think I figured out the issue.  The small post inside the earphone that has a recepticle hole in it is broken.  There is only half remaining.  I don't know how it got like that, and I don't know what to do.  Can Shure fix that?  I don't want to be out $500 :(

I have the same issue, I just have to adjust them to be more horizontal than I was used to with the 530's - then it seems to work fine.

i wish they'd put out a clear version of the music phone adapter cable.  I'm tired of fishing for my phone when someone wants to talk to me.

I've never had boomy bass issues with the 650's.  They are super neutral.  If you're getting that, maybe it's in the original source material.

I can't imagine 2-3PM on IEM's.  Unless you didn't have them plugged in your ears correctly.  I can't go over that on my Senn 650's even.
