How to make the HD600 as fast as a HD800 or to make the HD800 as intimate, organic and fullbodied as a HD600 ?   Is it possible? Even with battery powered SS amps (RWA) ?   I really like the small realistic intimate jazzclub soundstage and fullbodied presentation of the HD600

any experience in using the hilo with the ipad?   i would like to avoid a macbook pro or caps server and would like to know if the sound quality from an ipad connected to the hilo would give great results in sound and convenience (playback software, libary management of a wifi drive)
