I found two other 3.5mm connectors that will fit Ultrasone Pros. The LN004553 and the extended connector from Plussound.

I'm aware of the Oyaide and the Quables. Mien says he used a generic for the threaded connector in a 900 but cannot be messaged. Quables would never answer my email. Something a bit more robust than the Oyaide would be nice, less expensive would be nice also. There must be something someone...

     While the coupling caps are obvious since I can't get the schematic it would be nice if someone had info on some important resistors and their corresponding numbers on the circuit board so they could be upgraded and any other easy ideas. Thanks, Tweaker

Mink70, One way to tone down glare and brightness is to use ferrite cores on interconnect and PS wires. Another way is to use x or y type caps across the ac line. I agree with another that the WE 396a has poor dynamics. Mass violins sound perhaps the best on this tube but it is otherwise  thin...

Nikongod, I can now satisfy your curiosity. I'm being told that the input coupling caps cap be removed because of the near extreame unlikelihood of dc coming in. The second set of caps can go down from .1 to .047 mf. No more than 70 to 80 volts, so a cap 100v or more can be used. Took me awhile...
