i bought this adapter and i am looking for A  good 3.5 to 2.5mm to work with this adapter can anyone point me in the right direction?

so i have a hifiman hm-602 and for whatever reason i can onlt get the firmware v.04 and v.06 to work with my device, i tried to get help from them no dice, so i cant go up from v.06 at all.   my question is, is there a sound quality difference between the ..04 and .06 or is the difference not...

ok so its been a while since i have rockboxed anything probably circa 2007, and i do not remember how to do it at all, i remember once i figured it out it was like a light bulb going off however i have read the directions on rockbox.org on how to do it, and i am just at odds i really like...
